I really liked her and she wrote me a recomendation letter for grad school even though I only got B+'s in both classes I took with her. She was extremely helpful and supportive.

Her lectures weren't that bad. The essay was marked alright, actually, the best mark I've ever received in an essay. Her tests were brutal. They made no sense and even if you knew the text inside out, you still did bad. Trying to pick an answer out of the ones she gave was like trying to decipher ancient Egyptian. Avoid this one.

**** is the best word to describe her. Her tests have nothing to do with the material she teaches. She has no respect for her students and she is a disgrace in comparison to rest of her colleagues in the sociology department.

I agree 100% with everything awful said about Lackner. Her test questions are ridiculously vague! If you don't separate what you learned in class from what you read in the text, you will be wrong. If you question her about anything, she is rude as hell! And don't make an appt. to talk to her, there is no guarantee that she'll show up.

Horrible. Exams are completely unpredictable, messy, unclear....marking is completely randomized. Divides tests into two sections 1)Lecture, 2)Text- if you mix it up, your screwed even if your answer is correct- I will NEVER take a class by her again, am complaining to the Dean along w/ other students. Paid $600 to learn nothing & get screwed ove

I agree - she is the worst prof in the world!! very rude to students - except those who suck up to her! Wont do office hours. Makes fun of students. Takes forever to return assignments and no return in emails. Never take a class from her!

oh man! do not pay to be taught by this prof. her lectures are pointless, she does not discuss the readings at all, she bases 3/4 of her lecture on outside materials. she completely changed the format of the exams from what was on the outline, and gives hardly any direction as to what is or is not important. take another class from another prof.

So now she is teaching at U of L. SHE IS HORRIBLE. i hate her with a passion. All she does is complain that she has to far to walk, so she doesn't even GO to her office. Anything private you have to say she brings up in class and makes fun of it with other students. She changed her whole course outline, SUCH A @%#$#@!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

The WORST professor I have had in 3 years of Uni. No marking scheme, my paper was illegible after she put her hands(and pen) all over it. She is unapproachable, ignorant and I beleive her paper marking is based on how much she likes you (if she knows who you are). ADVICE:don't let her know who you are!

She marks arbtirarily, primarily based on whether you agree with her "feminist" opinion or not, and changes the course outline on a whim with two days notice. It went from having two MC exams and one paper due to having one essay exam, 4 ten-page papers, and a 15 page research paper.

Completely unapproachable, almost attempts to seem as scary and intimidating as possible. Her marking scheme was the most ridiculous I've ever seen. People were getting 4/30 on essay questions which matched her notes completely. Unwilling to compromise. Plus she made a **** comment to my M friend.
