This class is a very hard class but with Dr. Hiley she was able to break things down easily enough and is always there to ask questions even through email. Many times she would reply emails as late as 11pm. This isn't a class to blow off though as the material is quite difficult and requires much practice which she helps with.

This class definitely is going to push yourself a bit. If you think you are going to take this class to get an easy A then this is not the class for you. That being said you for sure get what you put into the class. Dr. Hiley is always around to help you out in understanding the material if you are confused as well.

She is an excellent professor who provides a lot of extra credit points. You MUST read the chapters before the lecture to really understand what is going on in class. Its Chem 111, no matter who you have it won't be easy, but she finishes lecture for days before the tests and then goes over anything we need help with.

Not the worst teacher I have ever had but far from being the best. I found myself not enjoying the classes that I took with her. She is a nice person and easy to get along with but her teaching style is kind of lacking.
