350 characters is not enough to describe the unnecessary pain this class put me through over the last 16 weeks. She is very unclear in what she wants you to do but expects all your work to be done in the way she wants it without telling you. Just don't do this to yourself. 0/10 experience would not EVER do again.

Dr. McEntee is extremely unclear but still expects you to 100% know what is going on. If i hadn't taken sociology in high school I would be completely lost. Excessive amounts of online quizzes on material that she never even taught. DO not take her class if you don't have to.

I really do not like this professor. She expects her class to be top priority, when she does not even matter for your major. You are basically learning material on your own for quizzes, "I do not lecture" were her own words. She is the reason I do not like sociology.

She is quite possibly the worst professor in the world. She is unclear, unhelpful and down right rude! I would not recommend my worst enemy to take her class. Do not do this to yourself.

She no help when you asked a question, only makes it more confusing. She make simple tasked all most impossible to due. For the points you get some of her stuff is not worth doing

She's very specific on directions given and will take points off if you don't do something exactly but the directions given are very unclear. If you ask too many questions about the directions she gets frustrated. Lots of busy work but based on a point system so your grade can only go up. Lecture is very boring but you get points to go and prepared

Lotsof work involved, much of what seemed like busy work. It was a point based class so once you reached a certain number of points you could stop doing the work which was nice for the last two weeks or so but it was difficult to get those points. All of the coursework is done through Canvas andhalf of the time you dont know what youre supposedtodo

The information is hard to understand sometimes, there's no textbook. A lot of online reading and you write weekly blogs. She isn't clear a lot of times in her instructions and in her feedback. Sometimes her clarification makes things even more confusing.

While I agree that Dr. McEntee isn't the best professor ever, she's also not the worst. Some pros are that there is no textbook required, all work is online, and there isn't a final. Some cons, though, is that she's a really tough grader and the work load is on the heavier side. She really makes you work for your grade, so be prepared for that.

worst teacher I have ever had. She does not lecture and all she does it talk about her horses. She makes you look stupid and does not help whatsoever with projects. What she talks about in class does no correlate with the quizzes and discussions. I wouldn't take this class again for all the money in the world.

This class was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. It involves a lot of work that is often complex and confusing, and the professor is far from helpful when it comes to explaining the work. She does grade on a point system, however, so if you show up to classes, take her quizzes, and turn in work you should get a decent grade.

She does not guide you when doing projects. She tells you to do one thing then takes off points for something totally different. All you do is read articles in class and her online quizzes do nothing for you and is almost impossible to get 100% percent on.

You honestly could not pay me enough to take a class with her again. She doesn't lecture. She's an extremely hard grader but doesn't clarify what exactly she wants you to do & she wants to "make things easier" on herself so she tries to force you into group work so she would have less to grade. Friends told me to drop her class but I didn't listen.

Gives about 20 quizzes over the semester (which you can retake however many times, so that's somewhat of a plus!) and expects you to post three times in a discussion she posts weekly. Doesn't lecture but expects participation from the class, which no one ever seems to initiate. Another plus, no final.

Prof. McEntee was a bit weird for me. By weird I mean her assignments were tough but i somehow manage to always do good on them. She is tough but not too tough that you wont pass the class. She definitely wants to help out her students but this isnt your basic, common sense sociology class. She will make you think but youll learn a lot!

she makes you work for the A, on a point system. it's difficult doing her work because she does not teach in class, just lectures about her horses and her life. easy A if you work for it, but there's a lot of work to be done.

One of the worst teachers I've had. She's nice and gives you good feedback on your work but she asks for an insane amount, and taking 3 quizzes a day really puts you behind some times.... I never felt like I was learning about sociology, we talked about her horse more times then not.

If you want to take a sociology class that is going to feel so much more difficult than a real sociology class should then I guess this is the class for you. The work you're given is almost so much that sociology might be the only one you should be taking. She's a nice lady and all, but her teaching mechanisms and the assigned projects felt disorganized, rushed, and confusing.
