Comment:

Awesome Professor, participation and attendance matters. Not a lot of tests or book work, but that means the little he has really matters but he does prepare you for them. I would recommend taking him and will in the future if i have the opportunity.

Took him for Ethics in Public Service. He keeps the class entertaining. 3 short essays + 1 fifteen page paper. His study guides cover most of the test.

Professor Sharp truly cares about what and how he teaches. He loves giving fatherly advice and helping students succeed inside and outside of his class. The class is American National Government, I don't know what the course specification is technically identified as.

Alright Teacher. Very heavy into the musical aspect of politics. Even had to make a political music video. Tests werent what he taught at all. He was gone alot during the semester so he had a teaching assistant supervise while we watched a movie

Dr. Sharp was an okay professor. He is very test heavy, there are not any assignments, just group work. Have to read the chapters before class because he races through the PP's. He gets off topic a lot, and really focused on bashing bother presidential candidates through the fall. He seriously does not like Trump, and we talk about that everyday.

Dr. Sharp is one of the most genuine professors I have had. He is very passionate about what he does and also in helping you succeed. You definitely need the book because the tests will have questions from it and also his lectures so take notes as well. There are some group projects and he gives extra credit. Tests are multiple choice.

Dr. Sharp is by far the best professor in my opinion in the political science department! he is the reason I have the major i do, he has a ton of experience and has worked many places. one thing you will learn from him is to read the book inform yourself and learn do not blow off his class he is a nice person and will help you just be sure to learn

Dr. Sharp is very smart with an extensive public administration background. But don't be fooled, he is about as genuine as they come. Really just a stand up guy, very personal-able. A role model professor; what every professor should strive to be like. Tests are normal, you have to study. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Funny guy, great stories

He was my 1st Dr. for MPA and he made me feel welcome while I was scared to death! His guest speakers enriched the class, the videos made it more interesting and he gave great feedback. I bombed the 1st test but in my 2nd class I made an A. Be ready to work, read everything, be ready to make a video. He puts a lot into his classes, you will learn!

Dr. Sharp has quickly become my favorite professor at UCO. I just graduated, thanks mostly to his support and encouragement, and I'm glad I had him for so many classes. Advice: Read the books and articles, it is college after all. Ask for help if you need it and don't be a ghost. If you want to succeed in his class, or any, it's up to you.

FAVORITE PROFESSOR. I intentionally look for the classes he teaches because he's so amazing, I would suggest you all do the same. Show up to class and enjoy, if you need help with the papers he's more than willing to work with you. Class is laid back. He loves what he does/teaches and it shows. It is super easy to learn from him.

I had Dr. Sharp for Am. Government. Classes are very laid back and if you show up you get an A for that day. Course consists of group projects that are very easy, and an exam about once a month. The exams rely heavily on what he discusses in class but you will need the book also. He is very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend him!

Comment:

He is a nice guy and he loves what he does but he isn't the greatest at explaining everything. His test are very hard and you must read every chapter in the book to get a higher grade on his tests. Other than the tests the class was easy and fun. He does give plenty of extra credit and that's the reason why I got an A in his class.
