she seems like she is a very nice lady, but she is very very unclear about what she expects on assignments and changes the criteria 4 assignemtns frequently! her grading is also confusing and seems random! A students getting C's and vice-versa. i think that she would be a good practitioner, but as a prof is to ambiguous! nice lady, hard to follow.

Sheila can be unclear about what she wants unless you pay attention and read the syllabus, then you get a good mark. She likes discussions and humour. Sheila brings a lot of experience and lots of guest speakers which really made it easier to go to an 830 class.

I dont even know where to start. This was the worst prof I have ever had... and she is not a good social worker, becuase my sister went to her and got some extremely bad counselling. It is people like sheila that make me feel good about getting work...if she can, than ANYONE can. and I mean anyon

She was a terrible professor. I am sure that she is an excellent social worker in practice - but is definatly not meant to teach a class. I would never recomend taking a class with her or having anything to do with her other than a professional relationship. She should NOT be a member of the social work faculty!!

Very friendly and returns emails. What was required on the essays seemed unclear, but if you followed the syllabus it made sense. Don't stress over her class. You will do well in the end. Class discussion was AWESOME and she let it happen. She brings lots of experience and stories to the class.

She's a little nuts. Pretty nice and really enthusiastic... but shes a crappy prof. Her lectures are confusing and mixed up (even though she knows her stuff) and almost everyone was confused on why we had to take the class.

Very compassionate, understanding and helpful...can be quite disorganized at times...approach this class with a rather laid back attitude...for tests, don't be short and specific, ramble a little and cover all your bases and you'll do fine...

I scored a 100% on an essay. Course grade was on 3 essays. Terrifically easy so long as your politics match those of sex-positive feminism (mine did). Ignore the men are from mars, women are from venus rants. Very nice and cheerful.
