She really isn't as bad as people say. In fact, she was nominated by students & got a teaching award two years ago! The main thing is: DO your homework because math really is all about PRACTICE. In class, ask her questions if needed. She's more than willing to help. Tests are a bit difficult if you don't study. So...STUDY & DO HW!

Difficult. Definitely not for first timers in calc. Tests have no basic questions learned from the teachings and are mainly the toughest of the toughest from the section(s). PS: When I took her, a total of 5 or 6 people passed that semester. No joke.

One of the worst Math teachers I've had. More than half the class failed the first two tests. For those who failed there were no words of encouragement, instead she asked them to withdrawal!

I felt like I didn't learn anything from this teacher. Infamous saying when people didn't understand how to solve problems: "Did you do the homework?" She made it a point to make people feel stupid, and kept referring to the text book, but didn't explain things clearly. As if doing the problems in the text was supposed to explain everything.

She actually made learning calculus fun. Her lecutures were clear and well organized. She always had time to help students and was very approachable.
