I had Shelley for several classes during my tenure at GBC. She was exceptionally well versed in typography and graphic design. Very challenging class work. If you put effort in her class and her assignments, you gained her ear and her valuable feedback.

I have gained a high amount of knowledge about typography from Shelley. Definitely knows her stuff. Any class she teaches is worth every penny. She's a tough marker, yet it pushes students to put their best effort into their work. Not the most approachable person,but she will give you opportunities for help. One of the best teachers I've had at GB

One of the better teachers, comes off as a bit of a b*tch ant the start, but is very helpful and understanding when it's needed. Good job Shelley at being a flower in a pot of dirt.

Knowledgeable teacher who is probably a little OCD about kerning. her presentations are all power point,as so she tells you how to do something rather than show you, which becomes problematic. She has very little patience and doesn't seem to enjoy her students. Probably a talented designer but a weak teacher.

Extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable about Typography. She teaches valuable stuff that you'll need for your career. She makes sure you understand everything. She's very strict about attendance which I love about teachers; I get extra motivated to go to class. Overall, one of the best teachers at George Brown College.

i feel like she knows what she is talking about. she is a tough marker and will fail you if you don't do as she says, but she is fair in that sense. the only problem i have with her ways is that the amount of time she spends with each student is very unequal, she should have a list of students she has seen so everyone gets time.

Professor Warsh is the real article, worth her weight in gold. Her class is the best I have had so far. She is super-organized and makes sure you learn what is necessary to be a good designer. She is not "fun", or easy, but she is fair and helpful and does not play politics or other stupid games. I am so glad to have her as my Typography professor.

Great Teacher, fair and very understanding. She might not win a popular contest here, but besure to take her class, be an adult learner and try to get the most from her classes. You will be glad you DID after graduated. The program doesn't offer many great teachers, but Shelley is one of the best.
