Professor Roff is an alright instructor. For me the class was extremely boring. An hour and fifteen minutes of staring at a power point. The tests are really confusing. She asks questions within a question which makes it difficult to get the entire question right. I found that when I tried hard and when I didn't try at all I got the same grade.

I didn't have Prof Roff for long, but I definitely enjoyed her while I did! The other Professor before her (no name) was NOT good. I wish Roof was there the entire semester. But I'm taking her for the summer and I am definitely looking forward to it! Great and sweet lady! :) I recommend her to everyone!

I took Roff for both History I and II. Her class was so enjoyable, and she is so passionate about arch. hist. The tests are not difficult if you attend class and review the lectures and slide IDS. One of the best professors I have ever taken!

I found her class extremely easy as an engineer major. Not sure how you don't get a B in her class, she makes it pretty easy. Attendance is mandatory, all test questions come from lectures, i didnt read more than 2 pages in the textbook. Test has 3 parts. Building identification, multiply choice, and true/false.

Grat Proffesor she is helpful, interesting, tests are easy if you study. Take this class and you will love to come to class to hear her speak. Towards the end of this semester you will get tired of writing notes who doesn't. But great professor take if your a arch student or not, its like watching the hitory channel is person!!!!! she is awesome!

If we had more professors like her at UTSA then we'd be the new Harvard instantly, and UT and A&M would be kissing our ***'s, She's honest, to the point, and you can actually understand the class (something that doesn't happen too often in the school or arch). What i love about her the most is that she is so incredibly wonderful as a person

She is absolutely Bloody Awesome! Her class was the first class i took as a freshman, and 4 years later (i'm a senior now) i still think she's the best professor i've ever had. She is so cool i wish we could hang out and party together

There is a reason why the UTSA College of Architecture picks her to speak to foreign countries about our school here in San Antonio. She is a fantastic teacher and explains everything in ease and excitement. Do NOT miss class if you are expecting an A. The lectures are easy to follow along ONLY if you are attending class

She's a great teacher and she's very nice. She does go through a lot in class so be sure to take notes. Class is generally fun and she never puts you on the spot. If you talk to her after class she'll help you. If you study the online handouts you will be sure to make an A/B, she's very direct. She is definately one of the greatest teachers at UTSA

I made an 87 on my first exam and hardly studied; however I did attend every class/took excellent notes. While the tests are a little hard, if you take good notes and make an effort to study a little (about an hour a week) then you will do great! Some days could be boring, but I usually really looked forward to listening to her lecture.

She is a good professor and nice and all that, but she tells you about the lifestyles of people back then and things like that so I took notes on that (along with architectural stuff) and there was nothing but architectural stuff on the exams. I figured this out after the first exam though. I felt there was a lot of material to study for each exams

This class is the most interesting class that I have taken yet. Yes the tests are a bit challenging but the class is really great, she gets really excited about the things that she teaches. I really enjoyed taking her class and having her as a proffesor.

Her tests are a little challenging, but i don't understand why people think she is overly hard. I was going through personal problems at the time that i took this class. Hard for me to stay focused, but i still pulled a B. She is a little eccentric, which makes her endearing and funny.
