Super fun and enthusiastic professor. She even helped me with an assignment for another class. Her half of JOUR 2000 has no readings or slides posted on Canvas, so show up to every class and take good notes for the final.

She is a really great teacher who is enthusiastic about what she is teaching. The class was really easy and the assignments aren't hard. The only bad thing is that she can be all over the place and get distracted easily so class can be boring sometimes.

Dr. B is a great professor! Sometimes she is all over the place, but she means well. There are a lot of group projects, and you don't choose your groups. Be sure to ask questions on assigments if she isn't clear, because sometimes she means one thing but it seems like she asked for another.

So, I'm torn. Dr. B is very passionate and loves teaching! I could have learned more if it were not for all the tangents and dependence on her TA for organization. Students frequently lost interest and talked to the point where it was difficult to actually hear her lectures. It's unfortunate bc she is such a great source of information.

Dr. B was so great that when we switched over to the PR side of the course, the whole class missed her. Though the class is a bit repetitive, she teaches advertising with so much gusto. She loves teaching and her students.

This was my first semester at UNT and I am SO happy that I started it with her. She's so fun and quirky I loved her class. This class was not hard, if you put in the minimal effort of showing up to class and taking notes then you will do well. She doesn't post notes online so passing the class is on you.

Has a great reputation in the Mayborn and a lot of students think she's amazing. I think she is really nice, but she was one of my least favorite professors. She got off topic way to often. Class wasn't too difficult if you write good notes and review for tests.

Dr. B is honestly one of my favorite professors so far. She doesn't post her lectures online, but she makes them interesting so it was fun going to class. She's a lot of fun to listen to, and she's a fairly easy grader (as long as you actually did the work).

She is a wonderful prof, best I've had at UNT so far! You have to go to class since she doesn't post ppts but her lectures are really interesting and fun, I always looked forward to them. There are several assignments outside of class as well but they are fairly easy. Honestly as long as you pay attention and take some notes you should make an A.

Dr. Broyles is a fun professor and I'd highly recommend her. I plan on taking her creative class as well. She has a lot of insight into the industry and will offer a great perspective on advertising as a discipline of targeted communications. Taking this class will change the way you think about advertising from that point forward.

she is so funny and very caring, be sure to make friends in this class just incase you miss a day because she doesn't post the power points, even if she did post them they wouldn't be helpful because she talks about the important stuff in her lectures.

I had a really easy time making an A in her section of JOUR2000. She lectures a lot, but she's really interesting and will tell really cool/funny stories. Attendance is mandatory, but she doesn't put her slides online so you really need to be in class anyway. If you show up and do the work, you will do well.

Best Journalism Teacher at UNT. Not the easiest teacher, but come to class you will pass. Come to class and do your assignments you'll at least make a B. Group projects are mandatory, you don't pick your team either. She is incredibly knowledgeable in Journalism and Advertising. she will teach you everything she knows about life. Take her class!!

I had a hard time passing this class even though the professor was very enthusiastic about her subject. The lectures are long and you don't learn much, plus she seems very spastic so you're often confused by what you're doing. Attendance is mandatory, so you have to be there regardless.

Class is easy as pie. Show up b/c attendance counts towards your grade. Weekly quiz like 5 questions. 2 assignments. 1 being 1 page paper& an ad critique. Easyyyyyyyy. 2 tests. Easyyyyy. Just show up and take simple notes. There is no reason why you shouldn't pass... Just go to CLASSSS. Would take again undoubtedly.

Expect the first assignment to be assigned on the first day, but they're pretty spread out after that. Attendance is taken everyday. She's passionate and open minded. She lectures with her shoes off, so if feet aren't your thing sit a bit further in the back. She has several amazing anecdotes from when she was working in the field.
