Took "Democracy and Constitutional Design" and "Democratic Political Institutions" with her. Classes mainly revolved around explaining the authors' main ideas. Comprehensive reading list (expect to read at least 250 pages per class). Always open to new ideas, even when in disagreement with her. Takes class participation into account when grading.

I found her to be so concentrated on her work with Eastern Europe we talked about nothing else. Pretty easy grader, boring lecturer. I dropped her as an advisor becasue she was so clueless

Thinks everyonone should be a genious. you can get by with not reading the readings at all and getting an A in the class. just pay attention and participate in class discussion. also, back upall arguments in your papers

Reserve readings EVERY DAY. Four quizzes over the readings which are not easy. No tests, but you write papers two 5-7 pages and one 7-10 page (final). Lectures are more of a discussion basis. All in all not bad, but the readings are a killer.
