I find it amazing how many people are harping because they believe that this professor is boring or unhelpful. The simple fact is that you get what you put in. I actually took 3 classes from this professor, and found her to be very helpful. Instead of not understanding something and choosing to log onto facebook I asked for clarification.

BORING!! She sounds like a broken record! I swear she's in love with Lisa Turner's Essay (reading in book) because for some reason she brings it up everday!! Very often I feel like shooting myself to put myself out of my misery. Take this class for a great nap schedule.

Painfully boring. Don't take her class if you aren't good at english because she doesn't really focus on helping you become a better writer. She is mostly in her own world and will talk for hours about nothing. She is a super nice lady though who is very intelligent, but you are basically on your own when comes time to write the papers.

Quite possibly the worst teacher I've ever had. Sitting through hour after hour listening to this blow-hard drone on and on about everything from polar bears to bridges is almost more than I can stand. The class has 1% to do with English and 99% to do with her being in love with her own voice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Here's the deal on Stoskopf's classes: they're easy. You have to pay the price though - she's boring as hell. I mean brutally boring. It honestly feels like some sort of punishment for touching yourself at night. I took both mandatory general composition classes from Stoskopf because she grades so easily... but it was costy. Buyer beware.

Class is hard to sit through...it does get boring sometimes. Very kindhearted teacher though, and the class is easy, but only for those who know how to write a paper on their own, this class doesnt teach you how, it polishes what you already know. Its not for anyone who expects to get their hand held, it challenges you to use what you know.

Most boring class EVER! She is very unclear, we spend most classes talking about abortion or stem cell research, and then she assigns an essay and doesn't tell us what she wants it to be about, except to say that she wants it to be taken from the text book.
