Comment:

His lecture notes are very easy and anyone can understand them. Expect long homework. The class environment is good and prof is punctual but the way he teaches is not effective, students get bored during his lectures and start leaving the class. If you are planning to take the course then take it you will surely learn a lot from this course.

Believe me he’s one of his kind. He teaches his students and makes them understand in the same manner as the way he wants them to. I m his student and I learnt a lot from him resulting in a successful dentist of my town.

Comment:

I usually find lectures too lecturish, but Mr. Shervin Erfani is surely an exception. Most professors use slides but he writes everything on the board and explains it. Practicality in teaching and marking the papers, even the notes that he provided were utterly beneficial. Very approachable, always ready to help, a good teacher, INDEED!

Laziest prof I ever known. Never in his office, not helpful when approach for help. All he said is 'it's not that much mark, don't worry about it'. What the heck is that? And doesn't give people grade the way they deserved, just let the TA's do everything.

Teaches well in class with interesting notes, but otherwise is extremely unhelpful. Can't even approach him with a problem; have to end up running to T.A.'s AND whats with the attitude man? good teaching skills but thinks that maybe hes too good for the students.
