She's awesome! She actually was a co-author for the textbook you will use in this class. Her lectures are short and to the point, very clear criteria. You have to show up to the lab though because it is only once a week, but if you are excused from one you can make it up on the last day of class instead of just cleaning up your lab station. No exam

Comment:

Professor Marjorski is my lab instructor for CHM131 and she's amazing. She goes through the entire lab and shows you how to do write-ups so you can get 100% every time. Show up and take notes (or pictures of what she puts onscreen) and you can get an easy A. She's a bit of a motor mouth though, so watch out!

oh boy, all i can say is if you do not have to take this class; do not do it. The grading criteria is so stupid and confusing. She is very enthusiastic about all things chemistry and you can give her props there but for an 8am lab lecture its a bit much.

Sheryl is so great! She is very clear on what will happen in lab. Everthing is in the lab manual, but going to pre-lab you definitely have a better understanding. She even gives helpful hints and tricks for the lab! Very enthusiastic and fun. I hate chemistry and labs of any sort but she made lab rather enjoyable for once.

Very nice lady. Always willing to help. There is a quiz before every lab so read the pre-labs. Quizzes are out of 10 and labs out of 20. Pay attention during her demos and lab will be a breeze. Highly recommend. She also is the author of your lab book so she is extremely helpful.

GREAT PROFESSOR! She is very upbeat and enthusiastic. During Pre-Lab take down all her notes b/c they are very helpful for the Lab. During Lab if you get stuck or confused she will help you out in a heartbeat! All labs are easy if you follow her instructions and what the manual says to do. No reason to not get an A in this lab!

What a fantastic professor. She was so ridiculously nice and positive about absolutely everything. I highly enjoyed the class. It is a lab, so you do HAVE to attend class, but she allows you up to 2 missed absences as long as you show up the last day to class (which is the "make up" lab day). I would definitely take her class again!

I had previously gotten a C+ IN CHM 120, so going into CHM 127 (lab) was terrifying. However, my first day of class I instantly knew that Sheryl was the type of teacher who had passion about chemistry and actually cared about the student. If a question is asked, she doesn't give the answer straight away but rather challenges your thinking!

AMAZING! I seriously would have dropped CHM 120 if it weren't for the passion Dr. Majorski has for chemistry, and her willingness to help explain material covered in CHM 120 (even if it wasn't relevant to that week's lab!) While I have had several good teachers while at CMU Dr. Majorski has been the most helpful and I would HIGHLY reccommend!!!

I loved her chem lab lectures. She was always energetic and happy! She threw in a few jokes here and there and they always made me smile. She was beyond helpful and her lectures made the labs seem painless. She was amazing!
