You can tell he's trying, but lecturing is just not his strong suit. He assumes we know a lot more math/calc than we actually do and skips steps when doing example problems, making it pretty difficult to follow. Overall, I would avoid for an intro/big lecture class, but think he might be better for an upper level or smaller class.

He is very hard to understand and skips steps in problems in lectures so that it is very hard to follow. Super unclear on the definition of concepts and how to solve problems. Would never take a class with him again.

Likes to test conceptual understanding as opposed to mathematical questions. Make sure to understand his lecture slides as he pulls questions from them. Tests are not easy, but doable if you put in the time.

Probably the worst I've had. Rude, inconsiderate, and confusingly unhelpful. Basically you learn from the book and (hopefully) your TA.

Terrible professor. He doesn't seem to care about the students at all. Goes way too fast during lecture to write decent notes. Exams are a lot of concept questions, which are always tricky. Do lots of practice exams. 15% of class gets an A, so the curve is generous.

Read text and go to discussion. Lecture was useless and boring don't need to go. Lots of practice exams. Pulls questions from homework frequently.

I thought the lecture was unnecessary. A good strategy is just to read the book thoroughly and do the HW problems. If needed, look at the lecture slides posted. The professor is a nice guy though.

I only went to one of his lectures and he was pretty bad. I found it more worth my time to sit at home and eat lunch. I studied alot out of the book from discussion notes and still ended up with over a 90% on two of the exams, and an A overall in the class...Exams are not as hard as everyone says.

The lectures are hard to follow. He does not give enough time to write notes. Says to do note taking on your own time, making lecture not worth showing up for. Low exam average.

Overall, a pretty average professor. Not great, but not absolutely horrible. The exams are very difficult, but the class is curved so don't worry too much.

The worst professor I could ever, EVER dream of having. Unfortunately can't avoid for 103 or 104. Rumored final average of 47%

His lectures are fairly easy to follow, but misleading. Exams are WAY harder than you expect, with averages from 60-70%. They're usually nothing like the practice exams or homework. Luckily the curve makes it so half the class gets a B or better. Weekly quizzes can be tough but they're a huge chunk of the grade, so take your time on those.

Lectures are not mandatory. Labs are only based on attendance. Weekly online quizzes are half of the grade- work with a group so you can get a good score. Multiple choice final with an average score of 54%. Hard class but curved to a B average.

Also had him for 104. Explained most basic usage of any given concept, then threw curveballs on exams - typically problems we'd never seen before. I spent more time studying for this 100 level course than all 5 of my other 300+ level courses this semester combined - and I will STILL do worse in this class. Avoid if you can... if not, good luck.

This guy is not good at teaching, he often couldnt finish his tedious lecture slides although his slides were just the same as with last semesters'. His exams were hard, you got some trick questions which were not at all similar to homework and quizzes. His lectures were very boring!

Dasu is pretty good as far a Physics lectures go, the exams were extremely easy and the curve works such that 50% of the class gets a B or above

A really useless professor. This is a physics class, yet somehow he thought it was ok to use powerpoints with bullet points rather than examples and explanations. Exam questions were ridiculous, nothing like the homework. Didn't learn much from him- was better off reading the book.
