If you can take this course somewhere else, DO IT. Laz has this course wrapped around her finger and sucks at teaching it. She is SO unfair and will make rules up depending on if shes in a good mood or not. I've never had such a sick/mental professor in my life. In all of my college career (Im a senior)... no one is as bad as Shirley.

Laz is literally SO full of herself. Spent the FIRST TWO WEEKS of the semester on the syllabus bc she wouldn't stop talking about HERSELF & the book shes writing on herself. She goes off on unrelated tangents & expects u to know the information for exams. She takes forever to grade, u never know what grade u have. If u can avoid her, do it.

Remember I had no choice but to drop the class cause I would've had to take out more financial aid to pay for the final project visuals. Did one test, got a C. Yeah maybe choose another concentration guys, this was only an elective for me.

VERY SELF-CENTERED! Loves talking about her self and how important she is! Not very clear on things. More than half the class w/d from the class. She wants you to gather visuals which is quite expensive on a college budget. This is a principles class. Makes it WAY harder than it needs to be. You're lucky to pass with a C even if you have a 4.0

Would not recommend! Beware and stay far away! She is not a likable person at all. Rumor has it a group of people got so fed up with her that they keyed her car! If possible stay away from her. Also Cal, please re-evaluate her. We could get so much better professors than her.

Everyone talks about how bad Laz is, but honestly shes awesome. If you show up, take notes, are attentive & participate (things you should do anyways) then you will succeed. If you're struggling just talk to her after class or at her office and she will send you in the right direction. She may be tough but she just wants her students to care

I ENCOURAGE ALL WHO TAKE THIS PROFESSOR TO READ THIS! Watever you do please double check your test. This professor intentially gave me incorrect grades and I had to go to the dean to get it fixed. Come to find out over 30% of the students grades were wrong in the class. AVOID IF YOU CAN! If not please don't hesitate to double check this womans work

Do not expect an easy A in this course. You will need to work for every point, but along the way, you'll actually learn useful marketing skills. If you work with her, she'll work with you. A little respect and common courtesy go a long way. Exams are based on lecture notes and the textbook. Do not procrastinate on the final sales project.

Avoid this professor as best you can. Marketing majors, sorry, you're required to take this class. I'm a good student, and my grades reflect that. However, the final project for this class is ridiculous. I'm relying on my test grades (Which are my only grades so far) for this class. The project is 35% of the final grade. Best of luck!

Unorganized lectures, and great at wasting time. Spent 3 classes teaching us how to dress. Probably a Trump supporter. Loves to blab about herself long after syllabus week. Gives a max of 5 grades all semester 1 of which is a 13min memorized sales presentation. Prerequisite for this class should be acting. Avoid at all cost.

Dr. Lazorchak means well, but she's extremely difficult. I had to drop this class because I was going to fail, and I'm an 'A" student. I even changed my concentration so that I would never had to take her class again (MKT320 is required for all marketing concentrations and she's the only one that teaches it). She is nice, but an awful prof.

I'm a good student, I always show up to class, take many notes, visit her office hours. And yet when I get her exams I get C's!!!! Literally ruining my GPA. I understand and respect her passion for selling, but how she makes her exams... will never help me in my future selling career. She's very self centered too, get ready to hear ALL ABOUT HER.

She is a great teacher and definitely someone who you can learn from. The sales presentation is hard but go and see her if you are unsure what are the requirements. If you ask her questions she will tell you exactly what you need to get a good grade. Follow the layout she wants and youll be fine. I got a 95% on the sales project so ask questions.

I'm a 4.0 student, and I received a 65% on her Sales Presentation. She expects you to memorize a +10 page script word for word. She requires visuals for the presentation that would cost roughly $150 to get printed. She also wastes most of the class time talking about herself and completely ignores the syllabus schedule. The tests are stupidly easy.

She spent a good chunk of the semester bragging about her importance in the school. The entire semester was built around presenting the 1 marketing project which was most of your grade. She continuously added criteria AFTER each person presented "You didn't do this or that" but it was NOWHERE in the requirements and she never taught it

Whatever you do, avoid her. The WORST professor i have ever had. Doesn't give you notes so you have to basically write down every word she says during her lecture and barely any of the info is on the exams .Crazy requirements for the sales presentation which if you don't meet the requirements for that you will basically fail or get a D at best.
