he is the worst prof i have ever had. he me hate a topic i was very interested in. even though he has been teaching this class for many years, he lectures and slides are unorganized and confusing. he is constantly unable to answer peoples questions. avoid taking classes with him if you can. he is nice if you go to his office though.

I don't know what the deal is with all those good rating. Shiv Prasher is the worst teacher I've ever had ANYWHERE. So he's nice and his classes are east; that doesn't make him good. Boring method, horribly disorganised assignments, and he made a potentially interesting class feel like an absolute waste of time.

I disagree too. (That student probably just did badly in the course.) Although the course material can be somewhat boring sometimes, he is a pretty good teacher. He knows what he's talking about, and is always willing to help. Overall, in my opinion it's a good class and teacher to take.

He's a really nice guy, and was very helpful. He's always got tons of students waiting outside his office.....so sometimes you gotta wait a while to actually get in and see him or ask him something, but he's always nice and pleasant.
