Someone in my class made 2 95's on their test and still ended up with a 69 average. Doesn't use mycourses, has no office, when she grades tests she looks for key words or its wrong not matter how close it is. Take notes on what she is saying rather than what ever she writes on the board. The notes on the board is extremely unorganized.

Shu Wu gave us a book with the class, but constantly went against what the book said in her lectures. The tests were a mixture of both sets of information so you never knew what was right. Im a history major, and her class was the worst I've ever taken.

I really tried in Dr. Wu's class. After our first test we only had 6 out of 15 pass the test and 5 of those were graduate students. She gave us an opportunity to redo the test but would not let us see what we needed to improve on. She is not clear with her expectations of an assignment. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on books and print outs.

If you attend class everyday, you'll for sure get an A. She'll fail you for too many absences. Her tests are not very easy, but as long as she sees you're trying, you'll be fine. I came out with an A, and so did everybody else who went to class no matter what their average.

Prof Wu's class was rigirous but rewarding, I wasn't getting much out of Uzoigwe's class so I transferred in, it's a much more structured and deep class, and man is she smokin!

If you take one of her classes, be prepared to spend several hundred dollars on textbooks and copies with no prior warning. Also be prepared to read every page in that textbook. Her class notes are worthless, don't expect any help from her.
