Most amazing prefessor I've ever taken. If i could have him for every EDUC class, i would. I had him for a class during Winter session, definitely reccomend taking it that way! you get to interact with kids in the middle school every day. Meach really wants you to understand and help your students, and its great. he's very passionate.

Comment:

Meacham really cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed. He is lenient with due dates, and makes it so easy to get an A on every assignment. The field placement is very time consuming, but class attendance is not mandatory so it evens out. Great guy who is passionate about what he does.

Meacham's class is really easy but I still learned a lot. You don't have to go to class at all. There are a lot of assignments but they're really easy and he's a very lenient grader. You can turn things in late and still get full credit.

After reading some of the other reviews, I have to disagree with them; I did actually learn in this class. Even though it was super easy he just wants you to understand your students. Other than that there is no significant amount of reading and very few (easily graded) assignments. I would take him again.

This class was an easy A. A lot of busy work, but he doesn't really teach. I learned more from the middle school teachers that talked to us, than I learned from Meach. Nice enough guy, easy A, but feels like I wasted a lot of time in that class.

He is an extremly easy teacher but you will feel as though you didn't learn anything. most things feel like a wast of time and i barly read any of the books and still got an A and even turned assinments in after the semester was over and recieved hundreds on every assinment that i turned in. take it if you want an easy A but you wont really learn

Loved this class. Very easy and Meach is a great guy. I don't know how people have not enjoyed his class in the past; everyone I know only had nice things to say. We had really remarkable guest speakers all semester and they really made the material come to life. Take this class.

Everyone that has given Prof Meacham a bad report obviously didn't do well in the class. This class is so easy and he is so flexible and helpful. He also knows a lot about the subject and it is obvious he cares and is passionate about education as well of all of his students. We had class the day after his girlfriend had a baby...I mean, come on

terrible professor. he sends emails out@230 am and expects you to read them before class at 8am. the content is sometimes usble (if you are an educ major) but there doesnt need to be a whole 3 credit class on it. there r 19 observation hrs, 5 papers, a movie project&an end of the semester project. way too much work for 3 credits.

This guy is absolutely amazing at teaching. He ensures that his students truly understand the material, and as long as you put your best effort into everything he'll reward you with a high grade. Easy grader, very relaxed atmosphere in class. Overall a great experience.

Amazing professor. Easy grader, only a few papers and no tests. One of the nicest guys on campus. Will learn your name almost instantly, too. Watched a lot of cool movies. The field placement is for 419, it has nothing to do with Meacham himself. So if you didn't like your field placement, take that up with Rob Grey, not the Meach.

Really nice, laid-back guy. Experienced in what he teaches. Fairly easy grader. No exams, just writing assignments/projects. I found the out-of-class activities actually pretty interesting and valuable. Very understanding, will allow you to turn in assignments late if you need extra time.

great guy, i really learned a lot in this class. He doesn't care if you hand in work late and he grades very easy. I learned more in this class than in any of my other classes so far.
