Terrible. Asked for help on multiple occasions to no avail. Said there would be a curve to a B- - C+ for the class. A total lie, it was an F - D in the end. Wouldn't respond to emails about this topic. Don't waste your time.

Very good teacher. Takes a while to figure out but once you do he's okay. However, in class with him is not enough. You have to teach and review yourself. So if you do poorly it's because you're lazy. Don't worry too much about low grades. His curves are huge. Homework is important for both grades and learning the material.

It's not the teacher, it's the material in these classes that suck! But you have to take them and Toida is a good teacher. Just keep up with the homeworks and take good notes. Use online notes as well. Study hard for the tests. It's not like he doesn't know the material is tough. He always gives a good curve. Chances are you'll get a B or C.

Toida can be a bit hard to understand, but he's overall a good teacher. He goes out of his way to help you out though. If you have some patience he's a cool guy. Plus for a such an old dude he's still got junk in the trunk.

Dr. Toida is an extremely intelligent man. While his English skills may not be perfect, I'd like to see all those who commented on his grammar skills teach a computer science logic class in a second language. He did a good job, in my opinion.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had or heard about. Lacks decent grammer skills. If you need help on a problem, he'll simply restate the problem to you. Online is worse. I'd guess 2/3 of the class dropped.
