Dr Bhandari is legendary when it comes to personal finance, All tests are open book. For the first month I could only understand half of what he said, but that made it hilarious, because he messed up simple English so often. I'm writing this in honor of his retirement ceremony today after 40 great years at Bradley. Blessed to have had him teach me

Listen to everyone else's comments, because he is actually the worst teacher in the school. Even all the people in my class who are junior and senior finance majors can't understand him, he goes through a slideshow of the book and call it "teaching". Just avoid his class at all costs if you can

Bhandari is tough, but not impossible. The material goes quickly, so it's crucial to keep up; if you fall behind, he's not inclined to help you. He does allow half credit on the answers but you have to know it because he gives about 20 minutes in class to do them. He does curve the grade based on effort/attendance, so an A is possible.

He was by far THE WORSE teacher I've had at Bradley. The below comments are all true. I think he's got the boot because he was suppose to teach J-term but the teacher switched to someone else and I do not see him teaching any Spring courses. Finally Bradley did something right.

worst teacher ive ever had to deal with at Bradley. I love Finance and the material was difficult but not horrible the worst part was his heavy accent made it horribly hard to pay attention in class and understand what he was discussing. Exams are difficult esp if its your first Fin class but he allows half credit to answers the day after.

Isn't as bad as everyone makes him to be. Go to class, read the chapters, he won't give you a hard time if you joke around with him. Tests and quizzes are a bit tough but he lets you make them up for half credit. It's finance, so a pretty dry class no matter who it's with.

He's not as bad as most say. If you remember ATG 157 can sleep through first test. He gives students a hard time but just give him crap back and hes not that bad. I got atleast a 5% curve on my final grade and he lets you resubmit quizes and tests. Just write down formulas on his sheets for tests and halfway understand to do well.

Makes fun of stupid people for not knowing basic stuff- Nothing wrong with that.Quizzes every 4 or 5 days. Quizzes hard, tests easier versions of quizzes. Let's you correct exam mistakes half credit except final. 40% of tests are math problems. Final exam average for my class was 59/90. Not bad but you have to read the chapters and do the problems.

He cracks me up-so funny!! This class is not that bad once you get the hang of it. If you wait until the last minute to read each chapter, you will not succeed in this class. He summarizes the information well, but if you don't read the chapters you aren't going to know what he is talking about.I definitely would take another class with him.

Worst professor I have ever had. More or less calls all of his students unintelligent wastes of space. Snaps at students as if he is giving commands to dogs. Does not respond to e-mails asking for help. Takes role during quizzes and exams(including the final!). I would not recommend him to any student.

He is inconsiderate of all of his students. He is the worst teacher ever, he does not teach the information, he reads off his study sheets for an 1hr 15minutes. He lets you correct quizzes and tests for points but you get very little time. I was in his 2nd class time and everything was on the board already... didnt reteach it at all... avoid him

The reason I have a problem with this teacher is due to his utter lack of concern about students.A classmate missed class for a school sponsored event, and Bhandari would not allow him to make up.Doesn't give perfect on hw, but can't give a reason why.Doesn't listen to what student is asking, just answers a snippet of what was asked.

Listen to everyone else on here! I didn't because I absolutly needed this class and the only time offered was with him. I should have delayed grad. before taking him! He shows up late everyday; then you get out 10-15 min late everyday. Tests are impossible!! I'm an A/B student and got F's on every test. You will not learn ANYTHING!!!

Pros: Gives handout notes, Only 3 option multiple choice tests, open book/notes final, can correct tests except for final. CONS: Very rude..calls you out on various items like if you miss a class and demands to know where u were among other things, always let out 10-15 minutes late, tests were still hard due to little mundane detail questions.

As much as people rag on this class, it really is not that hard. He lets you correct tests and some quizzes. I am by no means a finance wiz, but I am going to pull a B very easily, and I am a percentage a way from an A. If you go to class, pay some attention, its not hard, he really isnt that hard to understand.
