The best professor I've ever had. He is extremely understanding, very clear. Has a great balance of keeping the class alive with humor and material. He's so knowledgable in his field and is very committed to the whole experience throughout the semester, was very open about questions and office hours. DON'T TAKE ANYONE ELSE!!

Not a bad teacher, just very strict about attendance. Descriptions of assignments are vague at times he was not very approachable or helpful with questions. Every test had a few questions that were worded funny so watch out for that.

Sid is a great guy and the tests are straight-forward, but the class is boring, especially the group projects. But, as far as Sid goes, his main agenda is to help you do as well as you can, and is more than willing to help you succeed if you care enough to talk to him, which I greatly appreciated. He's a prof that you will want to learn from.

I had few courses with Sid and by far he is one the best professors at the U. Professional, helpful and above all smart. Knows his job well and very engaging. Make sure your participation is of quality otherwise you won?t get an A. Exams are straightforward from the study guide so read them well.

Sid is a great teacher. Fill out his study guides fully because his tests accurately are based off them. Read the book this is where the questions come from more than his lectures. He grades participation hard. Make sure your comments are of high quality.

He gives very detailed study guides, he breaks down every chapter. He's really approachable and really encourages participation. Speak up in his class, there's a lot of discussion time and he wants to hear from students.

Personally, I thought the tests he gave were pretty straight forward, just make sure to do the study guide (make notecards or whatever). I took the summer class and there were only two 30 point quizes, 1 presentation/project, and 1 one-page summary of an article, so it wasn't bad. Just make sure to participate and do well on the quizes

In all honesty, you only have to go to class for the group presentation and final exam- but beware, only 20% of the exam material can be found in his lecture notes/the textbook. The remaining questions are a joke. If you do not speak up in class on a daily basis, you will receive a B.

You don't ever need to show up for class, because all the lecture notes are online. He tells you the chapters you need to know for the final about 2 weeks before, so there's no need to read them ahead of time. The final was random and had stuff on there that we never talked about.

Don't know any of your grades till the end of your semester. Actually, you don't do anything till the last few weeks of the semester, and the assignments are pointless and confusing. He is a very lazy professor. The lectures are extremely boring, seems like he is not interested in the class at all. Pretends to be a professional, but he is not!

If you don't mind not knowing about your grade until its posted on onestop, you won't mind this class. If, however, you like to have a clue about your grade before then, avoid this class. Only three graded things, all in the last three weeks. If you speak in lectures, you will get an A.

Sid is awesome, I had him for HRIR 3021 as well and coudln't endorse him more! He has tons of great advice and ideas, he's helpful and outgoing, passionate about sharing his knowledge and making a difference in his students lives. He's from Algeria so he's got a very Europpean accent which is a nice change of pace during his lecture.

He's very nice & knowledgeable, but his tests are really tough & appear to not be written by him. I have no clue how I got an 'A' cuz I thought I was doing poorly...a lot of stress about doing bad & then turns out I get an A...who knows?

Great Teacher! I took him for Mgmt 3001 and again for HRIR 3021 and would love to take him again. He keep lecture interesting and actually teaches things that will be valuable to you in the future. His tests are pretty easy and he's very approachable! I definately recommend Sid!

This instructor is nice and the material is easy. My only complaint is that he sets up the class so that each point you miss on an exam is a percentage off your grade - so miss a couple questions on each quiz and there's no hope of getting an A
