Honestly, he's an alright professor! I hate humanities so this was a hard class for me. He's very knowledge about this subject because he's been teaching it for so long and does offer extra credit. He will make jokes a lot about you so have "thick skin" because it's not personal. His lectures can be long & boring but you should take notes.

Dr. Heit is one of the most wonderful, genuine people on this earth. He is an equal opportunity offender, but he doesn't mean any of it so don't let him get to you. I've taken every class he offers and am now his intern for his last 2 semesters. Take him before he retires (after Spring 2017 most likely). You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Heit will talk about a lot of nonsense for a good majority of the class. Gives 200 question study guides for a 50 question test. I studied hardest for this class than any other class during the semester and still barely scraped by.

Test are hard so do the study guides and review them when he knocks on his desk that means listen closely a test question is said. he is very funny but goes off topic a lot with good stories but irreverent to the class he does it to keep you awake. hates when people have their phones out 3 test 3 essays not that bad.

His jokes and comments are inappropriate and offensive so enter with thick skin! He will get angry if you get on your phone & not listen his close minded opinions. He lectures all period and tells you what to highlight in the book but it doesn't matter because all of his study guides are on quizlet. Takes attendance everyday&offers extra credit.

This teacher sat and told stories the whole class then gave long random tests. He is highly offensive to many people in the class and continually said things he shouldn't. I am not sure why he is still a teacher, but you will not learn much from him other than some raunchy stories you didn't want to hear.

For everyone saying the class was hard, they didn't listen to him at all. He constantly repeats his jokes and if you are easily offended then don't take him. This was a very strange class. Heit wasnt there for surgery the first week of class. Then about halfway through left (didn't come back) because of an infection. While he was there he blew off time and taught little to nothing. Test's were name and dates and 90 questions long.

He spends the entire class period making jokes and then tells you to hi-lite 1/2 of your text book. He hardly lectures, so it is up to you to read, study, and thoroughly understand the text if you hope to pass his exams. Possibly the worst professor I've ever had.

Heit is the bomb! Incredible, smart, and an easy A. He is NOT offensive! Had him for Apocalypse and Armageddon, and that was the most I ever learned about Holy Scripture I have ever done. I hope you like to read. He is really funny, and if you are offended by him; you have no sense of humor!

Very great teacher! He def knows his stuff. His tests are right off the study guide and if you just google the questions on the study guide you can find his exact tests. Just FYI. Class is very easy to make a B and A. I made a B because i never studied. Just go to class and write your essays and you will receive a B.

Eh. He misses a lot but expects you to be there everyday and makes attendance apart of your grade. He's nice, but doesn't really teach anything. As long as you do the study guides you'll be fine. Also, don't take him if you get easily offended by jokes.

He is a good instructor...when he shows up. He likes to make it clear that he is strict on attendance when the semester comes to a close, but he himself missed SEVERAL classes (over the amount he allows his students). He also hardly covered any of the material the final is comprised of, leaving it to the student to do. overall, he's "okay" at best.

Good Class. He gives you a test review sheet about 3 or 4 weeks before the test. GO TO THE STUDY GROUPS LIKE I DID. Use the tutoring as well and you'll be just fine. I pulled an B even without writing one of the papers because he offers a lot of bonus points.
