Best Stat Prof. All of the work was done online and attendance was optional. He'll teach you how to use StatCrunch in the first class (it makes everything so much easier). There's 4 tests (he drops the lowest grade if you score above 60), 9 HW based on each chapter, 3 simulations, 2 short essays (300 words each), and offers a lot of extra credit.

Professor Pollack is the absolute best professor someone could take for DS 2333 and DS 2334. His grading system is crystal clear and allows you to retake homework and tests as many times as you want until you're satisfied with your grade. It is not an easy A but if you put in the work it is easily attainable.

Professor Pollack should have a better rating. He truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed, not just in his class but in life. This semester was one of the most time consuming of my life - interview for investment banking roles, semester long internship at a bank, and a full course lad. Professor Pollack was there for me.

I took him two semesters in a row, DS2333 and 2334. He lets you take the curse online where you can retake the tests and homework as many times as you want until your happy with the grades. The only deadline is the first test, everything else is due during finals week. Cool professor

You'll get an A if you do the work. It is a lot of work but there are pretty much no deadlines. A lot of homework, but the website guides you though it. I had him twice and Im glad I did

The online course was so simple and straightforward. All the homework and exams were so similar to each other. The professor lets you use cheat sheets, textbook, or anything you want to help yourself pass the exams. He drops the 1 lowest test grade if it is over 60%. He offered many extra credit assignments to help boost your grade too. Take him!

The best stats class ever is Pollack's online. You actually learn something because you are moving at your own pace. While it may take tedious long hours, its well worth it because you will earn your A like I did. The exams are just like the homeworks and can retake them as many times as you want. USE STATCRUNCH! And refer to his youtube tutorials.

If you're taking the online stats class do everything early because it takes time to learn Stats. If you wait till the last minute, it can be very stressful.

BEST STATS PROFESSOR !!! You have to take this class (especially online) because it is so simple and easy, basically a guaranteed A if you do everything. Gives homework with tools that help you solve everything and tests that are exact copies of the homework assignments. Best of all, this professor is so nice and helpful, highly recommend him!!!

Came into class not expecting much after looking at these ratings. Totally the opposite. Entire class was done online. Never went in once, got 100 on EVERY SINGLE THING, including the tests without even trying. All the questions are copypasted from the hw. Definately recommend.

Professor Pollack is amazing. I had him for the second part of statistics. For the first part I had the greek stats professor who literally just reads out of his 300 year old notes and doesn't make anything clear. This class is the exact opposite, everything is crystal clear and there are so many resources available to the students! Great class!!

BEST DS professor, He gives you lots of chances to improve your grade. Those people who have negative comments are lazy because he's super nice. Just do his homework, online quizzes, he drops your lowest grade and shows you how to do the spinner. Take HIM! I got an A.

honestly, just do the work and you'll get a good grade. put homework on the board, whether it's right or wrong you get homework points. raise your hand with input or anyyy question and you'll get participation points. tests, you can bring notes, but the problems can't be written out aka use a,b,c instead of 1,2,3. once u get used to him ull <3 him!

Got 80's on his tests and he gave me a D. He acts like he cares and tries to give you advice so "you can get an A." I did all the extra credit, participated and put hw on the board. He didn't teach me anything and I had to teach myself everything from the textbook. Speaks to fast so you get lost on the material! AVOID!!!!

I got mid 80's on all his tests and even put hw on the board and still got a C+. How does mid 80's on tests = a C+? The spinner project is endless and does not give you proper direction on what to do. The only thing I liked about him is that you can ask for more help, yet that still does nothing!
