Reads off the note package in lecture. Never kept us the full 3 hours, usually only about an hour. He doesn't use D2L/email so everything is handed out in class. Midterm/Final are take home. 1 other essay. All pretty easy subject matter, but while he doesn't really give out C's, he also doesn't hand out a ton of A's. Not very clear of expectations.

Amazing prof and person. 3 essays. Lots of time in between assignments. Easy enough to do well if you stick to his notes. Very accessible outside of class. He doesn't have email but always encourages students to call him at home. Very welcoming and approachable, genuinely cares about the success of his students. Best Prof I've ever had.

He is not clear of what he is teaching. Lecture itself is not enough to student understand the material subjects. He is giving out good grades and he has good attitude on students. It wasn't bad except my high hope in his great review.

Professor Miller is the single best professor I have ever taken a course with. Of course he does enjoy his usual rants and on going stories, but as far as the course goes he is simply the best. He gets through each lecture painlessly and and in great time! As long as you attend class, and make comments and questions it's a for sure pass!

I was very hesitant to take this class since I have no philosophy background at all but Dr. David Miller made this class very easy to understand & follow. He is very caring and truly wants every student to succeed, he is willing to meet up outside of class, or help over the phone. Any one who takes this class can get an easy B or A+ if they try.

David Miller is the BEST prof at Ryerson. Just 3 take home exams and yet they are marked so easy. He chooses the best paper among the class and marks the others' papers based on that. He is very caring and willing to explain a lot more in detail if asked. Exams only requires the notes he provides as well as his lectures. Easy A.

This is one of those courses that every student would dream to have. Extremely friendly prof, 3 take home essays, and plenty of time to work on the. Basically he would love you to use his own notes in the essays. No textbook or anything just his notes that are 15$. First session that you see him, you will just want to hug him :D

He's such a lovely man! Don't take this course if you're looking for easy course work, you actually have to think for the assignments. The midterm and exam was take-home, but were 2/4 essays due for the next week. He really loves what he teaches, and cares about the students.

There are only 3 take home exams. There is no textbook for this course. Teacher provides the notes for $17. The teacher is very helpful and easily approachable. He gives out his phone number to the students in this regard.

Friendly and easy to talk to. No textbook and you spend only a minimal amount of $ for his notes. Everything is take-home (good!) so if you like writing essays this course is good for u. He marks very easy provided you simply write down exactly what he says in class (he looks for those points when marking). Easy B~A but impossible A+. Recommended!

BEST PROFESSOR HANDS DOWN. Loved the class! Makes things crystal clear. Very easy to approach and makes things easy to understand. One small con: He really doesn't like it when students leave his class early(I guess he assumes it's a sign of lack of respect? Seems like an old fashioned guy). He'll call you out when you try to leave.

One of the best profs at ryerson, no doubt about it! The class is interesting if you have some interest in religion. There is no text book, only need to buy his notes (around 15 dollars). Very fair when it comes to marking.

He must be the best professor by far in Ryerson, my own opinion! Very clear, helpful, ALWAYS reviews in the beginning of class material that were taught last class. Exams were take-home. I do not recommend buying the readings. Just get his notes and attend class! And you'll get a A+. He really cares about the success of his students!

He is absolutely fantastic. I would say that he is the best prof @ ryerson. He is approachable and very caring for his students. I barely went to class due to my other summer courses. But overall i got an A. There's no textbook, only his interpretations of the lecture notes. He is also very objective which is hard to find when it comes to phiolosop
