Avoid at all costs. The worst teacher I have ever had. Assigned 200 pages of textbook reading to complete in two nights. Quiz on first day of class. Horrible communicator - not timely to respond and difficult to understand. She thinks she is the smartest person in the room.

Dr. Kahai is a very difficult professor, but she may be the smartest one i've ever taken. She definitely knows what shes talking about, but her lectures are very long and full of information which makes them hard to follow. It's one of those classes that's like don't speak unless spoken to. She gives lots of homework but offers a C contract

Kahai is a tough teacher and the class is hard but she is very knowledgeable and good at making sure you understand everything. She is also a very reasonable person and cares about students time and schedule. Would definitely recommend.

Very knowledgeable about economics and a very nice person but would not recommend taking her because she assigns a lot of hard homework and does not always explain lectures well. She is also very disorganized about grading because you will never know your actual grade until the end of the semester.

Dr. Kahai is an extremely difficult professor. Her tests are very confusing and the online homework is also a pain. I wish I could say better things about the class because I do like her as a person and it is clear she is passionate about her field. I would not recommend taking her. She offers a C contract to guarantee a C in the class though

Dr. Kahai is truly a terrible teacher, avoid at all costs. She makes the material difficult cause she doesn't know who to teach or even engage with students. A ton of homework and the exams are difficult

She is a decent teacher. Class can get boring because it is just her lecturing from the powerpoint, but she tries to explain the concepts well. She is available to help you when needed, and even was willing to call me one time to help since she could not meet in person. Biggest issue did not know what grade we had in the class.

Dr. Kahai was a great teacher. She is very helpful and accommodating if you need extra help. The homework can take a while to do, but she gives you a couple days to complete it and you have three tries on each problem. The tests are tough though even with preparation. I would not recommend skipping class.
