I am shocked that people have bad things to say about her. One of the best profs I've ever had. She's so passionate and smart. Has helped me with my writing significantly. Is one of the only profs interested in pushing student work.

back in the day, I wrote my first thesis for her. now i'm a tutor. I remember the bunch of putz's I took the class with. One dude was obsessed with writing a book report on the navy seals (the class was war and ethics oriented). I wonder if people still miss the point entirely like my classmates did back then.

Not only is this class totally unhelpful, it was actually counter productive. No one ever knew what the assignments were, and even if you did one she would forget she assigned it. An absolutely abhorrible class. caustic and discouraging then hadthe audacity to complain about lack of participation.

Theres a lot of mixed reviews here for a reason... weather you like her or not really depends. She's stern, but nice on the inside. Tough, but really gets you to flex your creative brains. I didnt realize how much I liked her until the middle of the semester. Some may find her really condescending.

I had Professor Queyras a few years ago and she is hard as **** but a great teacher. She taught me how to write a well written research paper and thanks to her I'm an English Major. If you want to get over, she is not the professor to take.

She's very anti-technology for some reason, despite the class being geared towards CS majors and tech-related disciplines. She doesn't actually teach, but she does try to get the class into a conversation so she can just lie back and, you know, not teach.
