Seriously what a great class! You will have to read a novel a week for class but out of all the books we read over the semester there was only one that I didn't care for! All the rest were great! quizzes every week, 2 papers, and final. As long as you read this is an easy A! Plus she is really a cool and laid back teacher which makes class fun!

If you love literature and the entire experience of reading (this includes discussion of what you've read) and you aren't easily offended by off-color humor or material that deals with sex, drugs, and liberal worldviews, then you'll love Sinda and learn a lot. If you get squeamish when the lecture veers off the beaten path, you'll hate her.

Some of the students complain, because she is actually expects you to learn something in her class(some students here just can't handle that.) She is very interesting, lectures are very organized and she's one of the few teachers who can tell a few stories without getting distracted.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! i've never had a class that i felt more alienated in. if she doesn't like you she will make sure you know it, and no matter how well you do on her papers, she will strive to find fault with them. i was very disappointed.

Nice person, but not the greatest teacher. Takes numerous weeks to hand back simple quizes. Rambles as opposed to lectures. Feel bad saying this because she is nice, but the greatest thing I'm learning in her class is what not to do as a teacher.

Not only is she the best prof. at SDSU..she knows her stuff and class is very interesting and enjoyable. Never missed a class session! Strongly recommend her!!!!

She's a terrific teacher, who really keeps the class interested. Above all, she knows how to lead a discussion. Her weekly quizzes are easy if you done the reading, mostly they are cliff's notes kind of questions.
