hands down the easiest class i've taken at uci. i'm pretty lazy, and i swear, no exaggeration, i didn't read any of the books. but i did go to class and take subtle notes. i got an A PLUS. i also found the class to be quite interesting and informative. you can't find an easier and more eager to please anthro teacher.

Very easy teacher. All you have to do is concentrate on lecture notes and reading. Midterm and finals are extremely easy - fill in the blank, mc, and short answers. She may even offer extra credit like she did to my class.

She is a horrible teacher. U dont learn too much about how anthropology is conducted or really what it is to any good degree. And you really cant understand her that well. It was an easy class but didnt learn jack!

Don't take her for anthro 2a, take Egan. You can barely hear her unless you sit in the first three rows and she's the most boring professor ever. The only good lectures she had were the guest lectures where she didn't speak.

Anthropology interests me so that's why I like this class. Dr. Ray was pretty helpful. Ues, she used a lot of examples to make a point, but she tried hard to make this class interesting. So READ the books and go to lectures if you want an "A"!

one of the easiest classes to fall asleep in. her process of writing on the overhead is quite irratating. first she writes so large that only a few words fit on each page. next everything gets put in quotes and then gets underlined numerous times.
