Comment:
Cobb is great in group based classes like Advanced Technical Writing, but terrible at class work based courses like Technical Editing. In groups, he will give you what you need and work with you to receive the grade you want. In class work courses, he will grade harshly without any meaningful lectures or workshops.

Great professor! One of the best I have taken by far, grades very hard but he gives you a chance to redo some of the work and you actually learn what you did wrong! Great lectures and you won't be bored, strives to have a personal connection with his students not just show up to class and not talk.

He is a super fun professor and a really neat guy! He's very informal and conversational, and he takes time to get to know his students. He's big on group projects and presentations, but he doesn't grade overly hard and gives detailed feedback. He wants his students to succeed. I would definitely take him again.

Excellent teacher in and outside the class. Sets high standard for himself and the Econ. Dept. at UNT. How often do you find a professor you can respect and hold as your role model.
