Terrible. We took all of our quizzes, and tests online, which i didn't mind. However, we would take a quiz, and we would be way behind in class. For example, ch. 10, 11, and 12 quizzes were done, and in class we were covering ch. 9 STILL! I did not learn much from her at all, I taught myself by taking the quizzes online and reading.

She is an AWFUL teacher. I would not recommend her to anyone. She rambles on about her own personal life stories all class. We have to take online quizzes every SundayWednesday, on chapters that are always 4 ahead of the ones she is lecturing on in class. Its awful. One day we showed up to class, and she DIDNT. No note, email, nothing.

Professor Pressman didn't do any of our tests in class. All quizzes were preset online to take at our own leisure within the due dates of each week. As long as you read your book, you'll do great.

Pressman was an awful teacher. She did not teach what was on the test. She would cover material that was irrelevant to the subject matter. She was no constant with her syllabus. Overall, I wouldn't recommend her for child psychology at all.

She is a good teacher, (she`s hard) but really good. This means that if you are looking for a masters in the field of Psychology, this teacher will prepare you for your field. Some students are looking for the easy A and are not willing to put in the work, these students are lazy, and a lazy student does not mean a bad teacher .

She seems to mean well but is not a good teacher at all. She is more than 10 minutes late to every class and still not prepeared! She does not cover any of the material and rambles about the same thing over and over. She can't seem to get her act together, so students end up with all of the responsibility for learning!

She is by far one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She is rude, unclear, and doesnt teach anything in class. All of the learning you will do will come out of reading your text book. I completely regret taking her class. Awful.

I will admit that this is not an easy class. I took the summer writing and speaking intensive course and I had to bust my butt off.If you actually ask her to work with you after class, she will, just don't interrupt her during lecture. Great teacher, I learned a lot.

did not like her all that much but I would show up and pay attention. There is a lot of work she gives but it is not too bad. She offers so much extra credit points you will get great grades. She gave us the answers to the final, all we did was memorize and walk out with an A. do your work, the extra credit. easy A.

Ms. Pressman is a wonderful teacher. She has real life examples that go hand in hand with what her lectures are about. Even though she may make you do alot of work, it will benefit your learining experience. I enjoyed her class immensely

Not a good teacher, she gets off topic quite often. She causes more drama in class than the students. The writing center at Meremac has helped my alot more than she has. If at all possible, I will avoid taking classes that she teaches.

Mrs. Pressman does not teach me anything. I have taught myself this class up to this point. She expects her students to know the material before she ever goes over it in class. Then she gets an attitude with the class when we are unfamiliar with the material, of which she only ever goes over about 15%.

Please know I received an A in this class and it had NOTHING to do with Professor instruction. I attended every (dreadful) lecture, did all of the reading, and busted my booty on assignments that were graded ridiculously. Somehow, I was excellent at applying learned theories, but did not adequately demonstrate an understanding of those theories ...

I have her for Child Psych. I am delighted that she isn't at all what most of the ratings say. She is always willing to help those who need it and makes everything you need to know very clear. Her lectures are fun and exciting and make you want ot come to class. She is a great professor.

I really enjoyed her class If you come to class prepared and have read the material you will do great in her class. I enjoyed her lectures, I liked how she relates class material with everyday life. I just wished her lecture time was longer than 1 hour, we would get so much out of it!!!! I enjoyed being part of her class!!

This is the kind of professor whoes students talk badly about in and OUT of the classroom, but since she's the only one who teaches child pysch, you're left with only Pressman. Best advice I can give: get your entire class to agree and convince Pressman to take online tests! And the semester paper was graded too harshly. Her rubric is unrealistic!

She's not helpful at all. If you ask a question about the material, she directs you back to the book. A question on the assignment? Look at the syllabus. She over explains simple things and repeats stuff over and over again. She doesn't care about the students and she talks over you.

For everyone that rated her bad..you must not have done your part as a student at all! If you show up to class, do the reading, take notes..actually study, then yes-you will do well. I thought that she made everything applicable and interesting to us students. I am very pleased that I had her for HG&D, and will take her Child Psychology Spring '12!
