Professor Rosenfeld is fantastic; her enthusiasm for the material really shines through in every lecture. The lectures are, by the way, thorough. Expect to write or type a great deal. But if she ever says too much for you to keep up with in class, she is one of the most responsive professors I know of in her office hours. Take this class!

very detailed lectures, has a tendency to go overtime but very enjoyable. work is mostly graded by TAs. mandatory discussion is usually pretty lame, but otherwise a good class with a pretty high amount of reading. take it if you have the chance.

lectures are very detailed and she is very knowledgable. a lot of reading. she is very receptive to questions after class and is willing to see students at other times. definition and essay midterm, final and 2 papers. somewhat hard to study 4 b/c of vast amount of material covered. overall a interesting class; only drawback is amt. of reading

Great professor, though there's not enough time to get into detail about anything.
