Interesting stories, great lectures, easy tests. What more could you ask for. Gives you the notes, you just fill in the blanks. The final project is a sinch, and Spartan is the most helpful professor I have ever met at IUP if you are unclear about a topic. He is highly recommended.

Good guy, very easy to get along with, and always willing to help you out. Not a hard class, but not too easy either, he teaches real -life on-the-job skills instead of the same old boring text book crap. all ya gotta do is show up and youll do fine.

This guy is so great! He shows that it's possible to love what we call work. He treats students like equals and values what they can teach him as much as what he's teaching them. Best AM class I've ever had and you won't want to miss a day! Not a difficult class, but you will learn a lot.

I thought he was a really good teacher. I found him very interesting. He never maid us stay the full 3 hours and gave us a 15 min. break every time. I really enjoyed that class and infact that class made me turn it into my minor.

Sparten is a GOD. He was the most informative, interesting, fantastic teacher I ever had. His class was easy too only because you couldn't help but learn. He is by far the best IUP Safety Teacher ever.
