Dr. Atchley is one of the best professors I've ever had. Not easy, but he made sure we had truly grasped one concept before moving on to the next. His tests are also the fairest I have ever taken. He teaches exactly what he wants you to know. It is a LOT to learn. But if you take strat with him, you will understand it for life. Highly recommended.

Cool guy, interesting lectures, very personable and friendly. He explains all the concepts very well, and definitely knows his stuff. Plus, he captured my attention well enough that I never fell asleep in his class- something that can't be said for most of my classes. Quizzes and tests can be tough though.

He is a great lecturer and knows the material well. However, the tests are ridiculously hard, requiring you to memorize every detail in a time period spanning millions of years. He is also incredibly biased, but what can you expect from a Baylor prof...?

Sure, he's outwardly personable and tows the Baylor party line, so the freshmen are fooled. However, the flip side to him is that he is extremely ambitious and lets nothing get in the way of his glory. He is arrogant beyond human comprehension. AVOID!
