Comment:

Best prof. in statistics: way better than Woomer! She uses PowerPoint slides, gives practice tests for extra credit, has Excel help videos, is always available after class, etc. You practice a lot a lot of different ways to get good at statistics! Gives out HW problems from the book, but see her or a tutor for help. It's such an easy A with her!

Professor Everly is a great human being and professor who truly cares for her students. She makes the course fun and passable for students of all levels and that is something rare in today's world. She gives plenty of opportunity to get good grades and always offers help if needed. I recommend her.

Comment:

Took this course over winter semester, which was 5 weeks. There is a lot of homework but it is nothing you can't handle if you manage your time right. She gives you a full outlined schedule of the course and all the due dates for everything. She is a fair grader for homework and give input on things that were wrong so you are able to fix it later.

Professor Everly is awesome. If you care and are putting forth effort she will do everything possible to help you. Not a hard class at all but she makes it interesting with the class interaction. She is flexible about due dates on things but if you abuse it she will take notice. Show up, care, do your work and you'll get an A for sure.

The course content is broken into manageable pieces, so don't feel overwhelmed if you're a business newbie. The business plan was scary, but it helped that she gave a sample to follow and had us submit the plan in several small parts first. Lots of tests and homework, but read the book, do the assignments, and you'll get an A!

She was a good teacher, very kind but had A LOT of homework and rather than having it due little by little she had like 700 assignments due before an exam. Maybe it's my fault I am a procrastinator but studying for an exam and finishing up a bunch of homework is not my fav thing to do. Just be prepared to do homework !!

My confidence was shaken after a bad experience (Woomer's class). I thought STAT was a concept I could never grasp. Everly's approach to teaching was inclusive of several learning styles by using multimedia and following up with confused students. To my surprise, I enjoyed learning from her and even studied before/after class w/ others students.

I'm taking her Bus 100 online course right now. Her class is pretty easy but there is a lot of work. The toughest part is the business plan, it's taking a lot out of me!The tests are only 55 minutes and you can use the book but it still isn't enough time. She's a fair grader and always available if you need help. I would definitely take her again.

Seriously an amazing teacher. I was extremely scared to take this class and ended up with an A. She is very helpful and cares about her students success. As long as you study her practice exams you will get an A. Also offers a ton of extra credit and homework due every class, its easy and brings your grade up! Trust me take her!

I liked her... She didn't really seem to have a hold on the class though. She would help you if you wanted, but you had to ask. She's very friendly, but she does seem get along well with males. It was an easy A because she curves the crap out of everything. But if you really want to learn, I'd go with someone else

Easy class if you put in a little bit of effort. She doesn't explain the material very well but she does hand out a study guyide for each test. MEMORIZE the defintions of those terms and you will get an A on the test. One project at the end that is very easy don't worry too much about it. Overall a nice prof and an easy A
