Dreaded her class every single day. The content was also terribly boring, which didn't help at all. Her tests were ridiculous-- you had to regurgitate EVERY SINGLE THING you learned about a topic or you'd lose points for "not saying enough". Made studying rather difficult. Homework took like an hour every night. Ecstatic to be done with that class.

Really nice. Very accessible and willing to help outside class. Tests are hard because they cover A LOT of the material but she tells you the exact material beforehand. Sometimes class seems a bit pointless but she does a good job of teaching and explaining the material.

Prof. Hoult-Saros is a wonderful professor. I came from a relatively lax Spanish program in high school, but she was very good about incorporating students of all abilities. Not all textbook. She uses creative activities to learn.

Excellent Spanish professor. She is very helpful and understanding when a student is struggling in class. Great sense of humor. She uses a huge variety of activities to keep class interesting. If you do the work and participate, you will benefit immensely.

I read through the other ratings of this professor and couldn't believe them! This professor is really great! She's nice and makes class interesting. She's all about practicing and it helps a lot in the end. I had a family problem and couldn't attend her class and she completely understood! She helps me when I'm confused too! Her class is worth it!

She just does not know how to teach very well. People do not answer her questions in class because she does not motivated the class to learn at all. She can't seem to grasp the concept of "teaching" something before going right into using examples. The learning is really up to the student. Tests are ok if YOU study for them.

She is a very nice and helpful prof. We did a lot of group work in this class, and sometimes it was a little too much, but overall it certainly helped me cement my spanish skills. I paid attention in class and did the work that was expected and had no problem getting a good grade.
