I would say if you were not raised up in the CofC, probably don't take the class. There will be some ideas you disagree with and it'll make the class difficult. However, if you were raised in the CofC, take the class! Most everything will be familiar and you should get a pretty easy A. Stafford is a great guy with a lot of knowledge.

I'm not COC, but now I know everything about their basic beliefs and can stand up to them in an argument. It's just hard to write the papers because I disagree with almost everything he says. Quite fundamental and traditional. Took the online class, which is easy.

I took him for Revelation, and I learned more of the actual book than I did in any other B-class at OC. Great teacher; presents all the views, then argues for his own. Lots of young people don't like him, but I think that is because he doesn't tickle ears.

i took his personal evangelism class and actually found him to be very different than the old school we are the only ones going to heaven zealots. I remember him in class talking about the church in heaven and talking about how different people in different denominations would be there--doesn't sound like the same person... VERY open minded for COC

possibly senial. an embarassment to oc. he makes up his own pseudoscientific theories and puts them on his tests and fails you if you dont agree with them. he would probably say the earth was flat if he could get away with it. one of the most closed-minded people ON EARTH. ex: there was no color on earth before "the flood". not even kidding.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE APPROACH TO THEOLOGY! Just grab one of his "books" and check out the bias, one-sided view; and "COC fell in a dark hole for years" approach to history! If you're serious about theology, STAY AWAY!

Stafford North where do I start? He is a great teacher. He's so funny he always made us laugh in class. Great guy too. He cares about all of his students its just a matter of letting him. If you pay attention and do your work you will pass his class.

Stupidest class I have ever taken. Teaches the most usless information. All I know how to do after leaving the class is draw little stick figures about heaven and hell. Sorry, but the old church of christ ideology of "where the bible speaks we speak, where it is silent we are silent," does not work anymore!!! You have to change your teaching methods as the problems of the world change!! People want answers and this class does not offer them!!!!
