He has very unrealistic expectations for a beginner weight lifter. I have lifted weights for a while but anybody who hasn't is not doing well in the class. Basically neglects to teach form. Test are based on weight so this is also makes it very difficult if you are not already in shape. Takes attendance every class. Would not recommend at all.

Do not take his class unless you like to go through the stress of not knowing if you will pass or not. Had him for the first part of Kin 163 and he did not grade any of our 3 papers until after we took the nutrition final exam. Writing papers and taking exams without feedback or a grade was not fun! It was a very frustrating semester...

This class is designed for people who already train on a daily basis. The only reason why I got an A in the class is because i came into the class with muscle mass already. He has very unrealistic goals. most of the goals that he is setting for one semester took me two years to master.

This teacher is terrible. His expectations are way to high for BEGINNER weight training class. If you want a good grade, don't even bother with this class. This is not the teacher for you unless you're super athletic.

Teacher is not ABSOLUTELY NOT GOOD. I passed the class and attended all of his classes. However, this teacher is not helpful at all. Listen to me people... I read these comments before i chose him. It is as if he is on some power trip and loves failing students. His test are nothing like his lectures, hands you the "study guide" a day before class

Nice guy, full of related random and personal stories. Uses power point slides but doesn't provide them and goes REALLY FAST, not enough time to copy the slides. Covers equations on Excel and doesn't really explain them. GO to office hours, he might be late but really helpful and makes sure u understand b4 u go. Knowledgeable in his field.

I came into this class with some muscle mass. I ended up with a B. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS CLASS. He bases lift goals solely off your weight. Very unrealistic goals. Especially if youre overweight with no natural muscle. Does not even go over proper form. Guys be breaking their backs trying tp get In those last curls and he says nothing about it.

He's the new tennis coach for the classes and he's definitely not a good coach at all. He treats this class like a freaking boot camp and yellin constantly yelling at everyone. I took intermediate last semester and I had a lot of fun but this year with the new tennis coach taking tennis is no longer fun.

Don't take him unless you are already in shape! I was luckily in shape so it was not TOO hard but you do actually have to WORK to get the muscles for the midterm and final. You have to lift a certain percentage of your body weight to pass the class. For the test, you have to do 12 reps of curls, bench press, sit ups, leg press, military press.

This is NOT beginning weight training. The guy's physical requirements can only be met if you're already physically fit. If you go into this class hoping to START weight lifting for the first time in your life prepare to fail. Also his requirements are completely based on body weight so if you are fat and/or not in shape you don't belong here!

The class is not for beginning weight lifters, the test requirements are high. Practice and make sure you know how the test will be done. Takes attendance almost everyday. If it weren't for the requirements being high for beginners it would be an ok class simply because it's a nice weight room that isn't crowded, some take it for a cheap gym.

He requires you to lift a certain amount depending on your body weight. The goals he sets are not easy. This class is not for you if you are not already physically fit. Choose another p.e class if you have any doubts. I can lift 1.71 lbs per lb of body weight, and I still thought this class was hard. Train at least 4 days a week.

Honestly this professor is not bad at all... Others may complain because they probably didn't attend class and recieved a poor grade because of it. Go to every class and you'll get an A. Grades really easy on both papers and a presentation...gives a huge curve for both exams. Take him if you want an easy A.

This professor really isn't as bad as everyone else says he is. Yes, his always late for class and likes to talk alot, but the class was very easy. All you need to do is show up to each class and write down the slides. He tests directly off them so the textbook is not necessary. You are also required to write two 2 page papers.

Worse "professor" ever! Always late, off topic, NEVER gives any assignments back, emailed a midterm review sheet the day of the midterm and thought it was ok. and it wouldn't have been that bad if he had at least told us the CHAPTERS that were gonna be on the exam. trust me don't think it's not gonna be "that bad" IT IS. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

He was the worst teacher I have ever had. It is a complete waist of time. He never explains assignments and expects them to be perfect, well I actually don't know cause we never got anything back. He talked about himself all the time and about his dog Fluffy. I was really pissed cause I was looking forward to the class, but he was awful.
