As a grad and former student of SUNY NP, Kudzin really prepared me for the years ahead. His classes were tough but will turn you into a hard working chemist. His approach to school is great and you need to put forth the effort to do well! Did well and he was always there for extra help! Really funny too!

bad teacher!went 2 every class,read the textbook,did the HW & still failed.The lst class I have failed in my life.I have never gotten below a B in my life,b/c of Kudzin & his****ty teaching I am not graduating on time.10 out of 50 kids passed Ochem1 in the fall-not a good rate.

Kudzin can be mean and hard to approach at first, but once you get to know him he's really funny and will take the time to help you. Tests have ranged from reasonable to extremely hard, but sometimes he gives the option of the class choosing multiple choice or free response. Usually clear in his teaching. Labs are graded exceptionally hard.

He's superb. Best teacher I ever had. I like the frankness in his demeanor. He's an easy man to talk to, bc even when he reprimands you, you still feel that he does it in the spirit of a great teacher who genuinely wants to impart knowledge to his students.

Kudzin is long passed due to retire. While he clearly knows his material, it is obvious that he lost his touch to teaching if he ever had it as some say he did. Class test averages tended to run below 50 with no curves. He is very unaproachable, and he blames the students for not doing well. 1/4 of the class dropped it one time. Probably anoth

Professor Kudzin was great. I took his course in Organic Chemistry close to four years ago. If you're very serious about learning organic chemistry, and pay attention in class you will do well.

Kudzin is too old to be teaching, hence he knows the subject extreamly well and sounds like the book. He can't hear students very well = hearing is going. Tests are hard (multiple choice). Go to his office hours with specific questions...or get picked on real bad since he's very sarcastic/mean.

I was a bit worried going into Prof. Kudzin's class, as he has quite the reputation as being really hard, and occasionally cruel. But the class was great. Kudzin's a great teacher, always willing to help, and absolutely hilarious. You just need to be able to take it if he's picking on you.

He is sarcastic and rude, but so what! He's also there for you if you are a serious student. He makes it impossible for you to fall behind by giving a test after going over every chapter (10 chs per smstr). It's hard but unlike other classes I've taken, I've actually retained the material.

Unprofessional. Makes example of students, focuses on personal physical traits in his badgering. The closest a human being can get to actually becoming a textbook. Transferred to a different teacher and really enjoyed the sunject.

while I do agree that kudzin is a very good teacher, I do also agree that he has lost a love for teaching, etc. While it is easy to say, go in expecting to learn, that is an acedemic standpoint. However, personally, he will beat you down if possible.

Ignore what everybody else is saying about him. He is a great professor! Org is a hard course. Of course he gives you hard exams. I learned from him a lot. He is very helpful. He helps you even when it's not his office hour. TAKE HIM!
