The class was based on 3 exams alone and he makes them TOUGH. Averages were not high on exams, I think the curve at the end of class saved people. He straight up said the class would be extremely difficult and that he makes the exams very hard, not sure why he sets people up to do bad? Would take with a different professor if you have the choice!

Dean Stojkovic is a very respected professor! He knows his stuff and shares stories, opinions, and knowledge with his students about his field. He is a little intimidating but very willing to help and talk to his students.

Excellent teacher and mentor. He challenged me when others did not. He met me at my level instead of treating me as though I were stupid. He went way out of his way to open doors and create an environment for success. THE BEST!

Don't take this class if you don't want to work hard, because you HAVE TO if you want to get an A. Textbook reading is crucial, you really shouldn't miss a single lecture, and there is a term paper. Very interesting class! Just a lot of work to go along with it.

And I totally disagree with the person before me. Stan was conceited, all he did was talk about himself. If the exam was about him, I would have received an A for the course. He was never in his office during office hours!!!

I totally disagree with the last comment. One of the best professors I have had. He is demanding but quite clear in his expectations and always willing to help. He definitely know how to reach his audience.
