Talks for hours about one basic concept. but no one has any idea what he's talking about. teaches design theory not 3D sculputre. don't learn how to use any tools or mediums. If you try and ask a question or get help he will keep you there, explaining, without clarity. you walk away 45 mins later still not understanding. not clear about assignments

Nice enough, did not switch out of his class because you can re-do anything up to an A-. Pretty clear on what he wants, but does ramble on and about half of it is worth hearing. Lots of freedom to work on your own time, I am disappointed though that he wont know my name by the end of the semester even though my class is small.

If understand technical drawing you will be able to function for the first quarter, but the main issues are, fist that you do not learn any new sculpture or 3D techniques that were not taught at the poorest of public school. Second, he tends to speak repetitively and constantly without a convincing show that he knows what he is talking about. Old.

Everything everyone has said is true. But Wysocki is actually a really nice guy. Surprisingly he summed up his theories to me one of the lat weeks and i actually understood what he was saying. SO WEIRD. but something i have continually thought about. Nice guy. Easy class. Didnt learn much... but I am so getting his book when it comes out...

avoid wysocki. class is easy if you dont fall asleep to him talking. if you like to learn, switch out of this class immediately. wysocki is not even a real artist hes just been teaching for 30 years and hes sooo boring. doesnt really follow the 3D curriculum and he should.

Nice guy, but is susceptable to frequent tangents. He knows what he means, but most of the time, nobody else does. Very boring assignments. He is a push-over and easy to bully. Very boring. Very long-winded. Avoid talking to him at all costs.

Collages, true. Lots of planning work: Drawings of 3D cubes & structures. He tries to make .5 the projects open and .5 structured b/c not everyone works the same way. Apparently a better 3D class than the others. Gripe: nothing ever seems inventive enough

Don't plan on learning anything about 3D, the collage thing is true. However, use spray paint or any other materials with hazardous fumes in every project you can. Bring to class and watch as he sniffs them all. Funny stuff!
