Great professor and great class. Only had one paper for the class and the lectures were very interesting. Overall she made the class very interesting and was clearly passionate about what she was teaching. Get ready for a lot of reading though out of the course textbook.

Most boring teacher ever. Her TA grades everything. Easy but difficult because I am sooooo boredddd. Teaches like in high school. Is very condescending, patronizing, schedules mandatory useless events as though we are grade schoolers in need of socializing.

AMAZING TEACHER!!!!!!! no passive aggressiveness, is never scary, and teaches very well; sparks debate and conversation while not making the classroom an intimidating atmosphere

Best professor at Trinity College. Encourages class discussion and debate, treats her students as equals, and is unbelievable available outside the classroom (even with her busy schedule with kids, etc). If you go 4 years without taking a class with her your college experience will be incomplete.

Chambers is very opinionated and it shows. If you say something that she does not agree with, she will give you a demeaning smirk, making you feel like a child. She is unwilling to consider alternative ideas and has figured out how to get away with being in class as little as possible while still being paid to teach. She is a nice woman though.

AWFUL - worst prof I've encountered in 4 years here. Condescending, spacey and unprofessionally politically biased to the point of being rude. Material is straight-forward but grading is arbitrary. I got a better education on this material in 7th grade without her priceless political perspective.

She is fair and she is a nice person she grades tests harder than papers, but the tests are not rediculous so if you explain things well then you should do well...the pop quizzes are annoying, but not hard there are not that many, overall not a bad class

Awesome class with a really great teacher. I learned a hell of a lot in this class. It helps if you participate every now and then - and believe me, you'll have ample opportunity. You'll also get a good feel for what is expected at Trinity in this class without being overwhelmed.
