Mr. Stelian George-Cosh is very knowledgeable. He is genuinely concerned for his students. He wants them to learn, succeed, and one day find gainful employment. His feedback is very helpful. I have always thought learning in a college is all about money until I met Prof. Stelian Cosh in Dimensional & Metrology, DFMA and other courses, he's such a good teacher in a way of Quality by presenting the subject in a very simple and organized way while supporting students to give all what they have to improve and be more successful in life.

Cosh taught me DFMA, Metrology, and Adv Mech of Materials. He knows his stuff and he's very friendly. He doesn't seem to plan out his lectures, but they're interesting. He doesn't give any course outlines and coursework grade weights, or mark quickly. He cares about your future and will explain future options for education. Ask him anything.

Knows his stuff. Doesn't tell his students what his plan for the semester is. He does not tell you how he is marking the course. Understandably, some subjects cannot be taught on a strict schedule, but he does not tell you this, and so you are left in the dark about how much a test is actually worth or how much homework can impact your grade.

Stelian is wise and experienced, but often comes to class unprepared. Drawing from a lifetime of knowledge, he presents lectures off the top of his head, occasionally confusing himself and the students as he goes. He's a great resource, but not one that comes without great effort. Don't expect a syllabus or marking scheme, and plan on working hard.
