Class started w/ 35 students, ended with 6 who took the final and I think 4 of us passed. If that doesn't say enough I don't know what will. He's rude when you ask for help, and doesn't hesitate to mock you in front of the class. He's unreasonable when grading essays, just do yourself a favor and go w/ a diff professor.

THE WORST TEACHER EVER! he gets a sick pleasure from making students drop. For those who don't drop, he'll make your time in his class a nightmare! sure he offers extra credit, which will help take your grade from an F- to F+. FYI, i am a chemistry major, so i know what hard work means. He isn't just hard, he is unreasonable. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!

DO NOT take him! All semester I had English teachers helping me with papers and he consistently failed me no matter how great the paper. He provides no structure and his quizzes are awful. If you can take his course P/F and just do the best you can. He is difficult and unclear. Take a different teacher!
