WARNING- this is NOT an easy A. There is no way to prepare for the tests. I read the chapters, his power-points & notes. The tests are HARD, and the questions are misleading. He lets you out early, and is a nice & funny guy, but the tests are rough, & that is all you are graded on. If you are looking for an easy elective, I would skip this one.

I took his class online during the spring semester, it was extremely hard for me. But when I took his class in campus, it was the most interesting class for me. I've learned a lot. If you want to pass his class, just read the chapters from the book & listen to him during class. Excellent instructor, disregard my previous bad ratings.

Very knowledgeable prof. I took the 3wk mini & enjoyed it. You really have to read the chapters, but if u do that, there is no reason you shouldn't make an A. You can learn a lot in this class. GET LAST EDITION OF THE BOOK! THE EDITIONS ARE PRETTY MUCH IDENTICAL!

He's a very nice guy with a good sense of humor however to me his teaching style is VERY hard to follow. He talks in stream of concious, tells TONS of stories, and gets off topic A LOT. He gives a generous curve, which may not be the best thing considering the material itself isn't that difficult. Your grade is based on 3 MC exams.

Doesnt respond to e-mail, he doesnt take him work home so dont expect to get a grade from a test over webct........goes way too fast....only grades come from 3 test....basically u fail 1 test or 2 then u will probably fail

Mr. Caples is fun, easy to understand, and tries to relate the subject to everyday life so you know what it means. If you go to class and read the chapters, you will make a B for sure, but more likely an A. I would recommend him for any class.

Great Teacher. Easy Class. Just read the required chapters. no quizzes, only test straight from book. That's it. He sometimes takes role but you don't have to go to every class. I think he does take some participation into effect.
