Dr. Dole, like someone else mentioned, takes some getting used to, and needs to warm to the student. I had her my first semester, however, and I loved her. If you care, and make an effort, you will be rewarded. She is tough, and can be difficult to communicate with, but she is most certainly fair.

Professor Dole takes a while to warm up to, but once you understand her (and she understands you) she is such a great professor! Sooo nice and genuinely interested in helping you succeed... and she brings snacks to class sometimes!
