This guy wasted a semester of my life. His class was absolute bullsh*t. He barely knew anything about the subject at hand and wanted only his opinion to show up in papers. In all, "Mr." (not Dr.) Casey taught the most useless class I have ever taken in my life.

Great teacher! Funny and witty..he does call on EVERYONE, but if you don't know the answer, it's really not a big deal. His tests are really straight from the notes..not hard at all, but they are all essay (3 essay questions. That's it!) He does give a bunch of pop quizes but if you do the reading, they are really easy. Overall, pretty good!

I hated this class. Man gives insane amounts of reading each night. Study guides are confusing. Gives a lot of pop quizzes. Tests are all essay and can be a little tricky, but they are from the notes so they aren't hard. He likes to talk alot and expects you to know all the answers. If you aren't a theology major, I don't recommend this class.

can only miss specified number of classes. great guy- u can go to him with problems. tests are essays but seriously RIGHT from notes. just spit back what he's been saying over and over. quizzes are straightforward and easy if you read. readings for every class. i suck at the subject but did well.

hes a great guy, sometimes he not crystal clear with answers to questions, but he does that so students can think on their own, no papers, just very straightforward quizzes and tests, not necessarily easy, but straightforward, if you take notes and study then you will be fine

Poses questions to everyone and most people get the easy ones wrong. Tests are all essay but if you know your notes well you can answer them all with relative ease. Can sometimes be a little too "interactive". Easy class especially if you do the readings. Just remember: During the time of Jesus there were no christians...they were all jews. DUH!!!!

Very hard class. 30-60 pages of reading a week, quizes on reading, essay tests, and lots of in class questions. Makes every student answer at least one question in class. Asks vague questions. Very nice guy, very knowledgeable. If you do everything it's fine, but it is a lot of work.

You guys are all crazy. This man requires TOO MUCH for a required course. Large readings, quizzes, and tests GALORE. If you need to use up your free paper $ on your royal card, this man will take care of that for you. 20+ pages on the readings he posts on BB. Nice man, but 2much work 4 3credits!

I have to say that I did not like his class very much. The man gives you A LOT of reading: 2 books plus lots of handouts on BlackBoard. A large study sheet for the test. Beware: The tests aren't as easy as they seem. Be very specific with this man! I say this is too much for a required class!!
