1) Anthropology is either a) Arch-conservative or b)Some very liberal semi-communist thing - all the profs in it seem to be strange but 2) His daughter went to local Halifax schools and some of her friends seemed 'those freaky types of people' you most likely wouldn't want to know. Anthropology - Im just not sure.

Good lecturer. Knows his stuff, but I'm no more interested in Archaeology now than I was when I signed up for this course. It's required for an Anthro major. Fell asleep a few times, but that's because of my bad sleep habits. Tests were reasonably easy, never needed to go to him for help or anything.

Not a bad prof, knows the material really well and knows how to teach it. Tests are fairly balanced between text and notes. Make sure you got to class.. they are multiple choice tests, and your looking at 1.5-2.00+ weeks to get them back. Unacceptable, even if it is the TA's fault. If TA's can't handle work load then don't TA!!!

Dr. Davis is the best! If you are interested in archaeology, this is the course for you! He has tons of slides with every class, which help explain what he's talking about. Very small book that is pretty easy to read! Multiple choice tests.

He's one of those nice old guys, you wish you were realted to or something. What a nice man. Always smiling and making jokes. Possible to fall asleep once or twice, but it's good if you're interested in archaeology. Little textbook. Liked it a lot.
