Huge ego. Likes girls a lot. Loves to be worshipped. He didn't win the Nobel Prize, it was the Pulitzer. Big difference

if you write like stephen, then you are "in" if not, don't bother. He did not respond to any student's work whose voice was a distinct departure from his own; he either did not understand or did not take the time to decipher innuendo or the deeper metaphor. He loved the chick attention - and spent too much time reading his own poetry to us.

I think Stephen is a brilliant teacher. At times I would be bored, but he was an excellent reader, and helped to enlighten me about works I would not have originally read. Enjoyed his presence in the classroom.

He is a brilliant man and one of my all time favorite professors. We should pay him a lot of respect for his dedication, wisdom, and knowledge. He won a Nobel Prize for poetry! We should be honored to be in his class!

Classy and humble, this old-timer's not afraid to Google his own name and tell you about it the next day. If classes were Chili contests, his would be the blue-ribbon chili; this much I swear. I could've eaten his chili for many semesters to come. Alas, he's moved on to greater things than Stockpot.
