Professor Haas is a professor that I would never recommend to anyone. He is not helpful when students ask questions and acts like everyone is dumb for not knowing the answer. His tests are online and he says they are "from the notes" but they are not. He grades hard on papers and rips apart students in front of the class. Not professional.

Doesn't have a clear rubric for grading papers. He destroyed our lit review but gave us an 86 yet said we did really good on the data analysis and got an 87?? He's very rude and almost standoffish- simple questions get him offended. He gets offended that we don't just KNOW. You won't need the textbook. Exams are wordy and tricky for no reason. Eh.

A very passionate professor. Hard to get the students that passionate about research. I didn't like him but he really wasn't that bad. Don't buy the textbook. He grades extremely harshly. Exams not annoying and tricky but not impossible. Ask him lots of questions he will help! Overall could have been worse.

Dr. Haas isn't that bad.. He's pretty nice. However, I think its just the subject that he teaches (Communication Research Methods) that sucks. I was so bored every class.He's a pretty easy grader though. I got A's on papers that I probably didnt deserve. Just go to class, pay attention, study, and you should be fine.
