Very smart woman, yet a poor teacher. Be prepared to submit upwards of 2 homeworks a week. She does not use technology to update, nor does she grade quickly. Overall an easy class but you will only learn about her personal life.

She is ridiculous but it's funny. She isn't nearly as hard as she thinks she is. I really liked her class and enjoyed hearing about her experiences. I would love to take her class again.

Dr. Ukaegbu is a really great professor! Her talking about her life in Nigeria is almost always related to the topic and she always is looking for ways to relate the topics to modern day stuff we would understand. She is not good with technology but she is really lenient on due dates and is very understanding about late work.

She's a nice women and loves anthropology, but she's boring. She talks all period long and always, always talks about Nigeria. She will always go off topic for a bit. She's not good at using technology so you won't able to see your grade ever. She won't give papers back until the last day of class. Attendance is a grade as well.

She does not post grades on canvas. She does not know how to use technology. She spends a lot of class time trying to figure out how to use powerpoint. She goes on and on about her life in Nigeria. She is a great anthropologist but a bad teacher. Her lectures are really long and she goes off topic a lot.

You have the same homework assignment every week. Read the assigned pages, answer a few questions about what you read. Every single week. I've only used two of the four textbooks she requires, I would only bother with Faces and the Work Handbook. Friendly and silly, but not really the best teacher for this subject. I'm disappointed :/

Was really looking forward to taking this class, wish I would have chosen different professor. Do not believe she graded quite fairly either. What really got to me was when she said dogs do not have personalities. Kind of rude to say. I understand she's from another country, but some opinions could be kept to yourself.

easy class if you turn in the work. she is extremely flexible, you could wait until the last week to turn everything in and she'd accept it. she is determined to make sure everyone passes. you have to buy a lot of textbooks and she get off topic sometimes but she keeps it interesting to learn about the subject.

She's a nice lady she's flexible with assignments, like she'll let you turn them in next class if you need more time her class was pretty easy all you have to do is take notes, read the pages assigned and you'll be good to go plus she gives you the exact questions for the mid-term, everything is pretty much about the reading and 4 books are needed!

she's a nice lady. her lectures are really interesting!! sometimes she rambles..but she's a cool professor!! you have an easy syllabus to follow.. Homework due once a week..1 critique paper..only way you fail is if you don't take notes or do any of your homework..you get a study guide for the final which are the exact same answers on the final.

Easy class to pass. Do the homework. Write the papers. Take notes on everything...I passed with an A. Every homework question can be found in the book easily. You just need to read through the outlined chapters...It's only like 5 questions for every homework assignment...If you're lazy and don't want to do homework then don't take the class.

Probably worst class I've taken. She hasn't even given us a grade yet, everyone received an Incomplete until she can grade the papers, which messes with your financial aide. Had to re-take the final because 95 percent of the class failed....horrible professor, stay away!

This professor was nice but she gets off track a lot. Her workload is easy but she changes the due dates often and that's where it gets confusing. She can be lenient but at other times is strict. This class was very boring I wouldn't recommend her but her class isn't too hard.

Comment:

Very nice lady, knows a lot about Anthropology. Can get off topic but in a good way. She knows a little bit about American culture but is always learning by how we talk and express ourselves. She doesn't ask for homework all the time so stay on top of it. She also has an accent and is sometimes hard to understand. Requires 4 textbooks though.
